First, today is the 197th anniversary of the publication of Pride & Prejudice!  *throws confetti*

Next, I've been meaning to post this.  My hubby got me a pop-up Doctor Who book for Christmas (it's HERE on the DW Wiki).  It's an absolute scream!  Here's one picture:

I've marveled before at the small community that the British acting community seems to be, particularly in regards to Doctor Who and the BBC.  But I missed these interesting connections:

Over here I'd admit that I'm knee-deep in Austen fanfic.

Just sayin'.

I've just finished reading my 5th book for this year's 50books1year commitment: Pride & Prejudice.  After watching the 2005 movie a few times recently and then reading the book this week, I realize I've been on a bit of a P&P kick lately.  But really, it's so easy to become immersed in this story.
